Rep. Young Urges House to Develop American EnergySpeaks on House Floor in Support of Opening ANWR

WASHINGTON, D.C. –During today's debate on H.R. 3408, the PIONEERS Act, Alaskan Congressman Don Young took to the House floor to urge his colleagues to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to development for the good of this nation.
During today's debate on H.R. 3408, the PIONEERS Act, Alaskan Congressman Don Young took to the House floor to urge his colleagues to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to development for the good of this nation. Following passage out of the House Natural Resources Committee on February 1, 2012, H.R. 3408 was recently merged in the House Rules Committee with H.R. 3407, the Alaskan Energy for American Jobs Act, a bill introduced and cosponsored by Congressman Young which would open a small portion of ANWR to development.
