Chairman Newhouse Announces Staff Updates

Today, Chairman Dan Newhouse (WA-04) released the following statement on new staff appointments for the Congressional Western Caucus.
 
"I am pleased to welcome two new members of my staff, Eli and Chris, whose experience and skills will help us continue to advance the goals and priorities of rural communities across America," said Chairman Dan Newhouse (WA-04). "With nearly 40 additional Members from last Congress, the Western Caucus has assembled a larger team to meet the needs of 105 Members who continue to be the voice for Rural America. These additional staff appointments will ensure we're supporting our Members’ efforts to protect private property rights, expand resource development, support our farmers and ranchers, and push back against the Biden Administration’s regulatory agenda.”

Eli joins Western Caucus from the office of Rep. Pete Stauber, where he served as Communications Director. Prior to his time with Rep. Stauber, Eli held various communications roles in Washington, D.C. Eli hails from Georgia, and is a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia.

Chris is a first generation American that was born and raised in South Florida. Prior to his time with the Western Caucus he was involved in Real Estate and Mortgages both in the USA and abroad, and is an alumnus of Florida International University.
