WASHINGTON, D.C. – Earlier today, Congressional Western Caucus Chair Celeste Maloy (UT-02) joined dozens of elected officials, local leaders, and hundreds of people from across the nation at the Celebration of Life for the late Chairman Doug LaMalfa. Below is a short statement from Chair Maloy, following the ceremony. 

“We gathered at the fairgrounds in Chico, CA today. It is abundantly clear that Doug LaMalfa leaves a legacy of love, faith, and service for this country, his family, and North State. Chairman LaMalfa never took himself too seriously but he was serious about representing his constituents, God, and rural America. What an honorable legacy to leave his children and grandbaby,” said Chair Celeste Maloy.
