(September 5, 2013) – Earlier this week, the Alaska Governor and Congressional Delegation were made aware of reports of the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation’s (DEC) Environmental Crimes Unit and the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Criminal Investigations Division using intimidation tactics while raiding gold mines in the Fortymile River area near Chicken, AK.
