WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following the House Committee on Agriculture's passage of H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, the membership of the Congressional Western Caucus met earlier today and voted unanimously to endorse the 2026 Farm Bill.
"Since its founding, the Western Caucus has carried the motto of being a 'voice for rural America.' That commitment is exactly what the Farm Bill represents. More than just policy, the Farm Bill is the backbone of American agriculture and the foundation of our nation's food security," said Chair Celeste Maloy. “As Executive Vice Chair of the Congressional Western Caucus, I’m proud to support the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026,” said Executive Vice Chair Nick Begich. “For the communities the Western Caucus represents across the West and throughout rural America, agriculture touches nearly every aspect of daily life. Our farmers feed the nation. The Farm Bill of 2026 protects our food supply and ensures that farmers and ranchers have the tools they need to produce. The Western Caucus will continue to be a strong voice for rural America and for the hardworking men and women who keep our country fed.”
