WASHINGTON, D.C. – Earlier tonight, a joint session of Congress was convened to receive a State of the Union address from President Donald J. Trump. Following the President's address, Congressional Western Caucus Chair Celeste Maloy (UT-02) released this statement:
“Our nation was reminded tonight that the Trump Administration is committed to putting rural priorities first. This has only reinforced the fact that Western issues aren’t just issues for the ‘West,’ but for the American people as a whole,” said Chair Celeste Maloy. The Congressional Western Caucus has put together a packet of a few notable highlights and accomplishments from the first year of the Trump Administration and the Congressional Republican Majority.
