Congressman Steve Daines today released the following statement in response to this afternoon’s House vote on the Federal Agriculture Reform and Risk Management Act of 2013: “Montanans are tired of the political games that have long delayed the passage of a five-year Farm Bill—critical legislation that provides long-term certainty for our ag producers and our rural communities. We need to move this legislation forward—not let more roadblocks stand in its way. Today’s vote allows for this important legislation to move forward so that the House and Senate can work together in conference to find a solution that puts the American people, not politics, first.” ### |
