The Caucus is in its twentieth year of advocating for Western and rural interests in Congress. "I'm excited to be joining the Western Caucus," said Congressman Mullin. "It is my belief that this caucus will be a good forum for issues important to our state and Oklahoma’s 2nd congressional district such as pushing for increased energy development and fighting against overregulation and Washington red tape on our federal lands and communities. " "I am happy to welcome Congressman Mullin to the Congressional Western Caucus," Chairman Steve Pearce added. "Congressman Mullin brings a great deal of small business experience that is invaluable as the caucus works to grow businesses and free the West from Washington's red tape. I am looking forward to working with Congressman Mullin as we continue to protect and fight for the West."
