Washington, D.C. (February 5, 2013) – Today, Utah Congressman Chris Stewart announced his membership with the Congressional Western Caucus. The Caucus is in its twentieth year of advocating for Western and rural interests in Congress.

“I look forward to joining my colleagues in the Western Caucus,” Stewart said. “Representing Utah, I know first-hand that the western states have so many amazing resources that need to be protected. Congressman Chris Stewart is a freshman member representing the 2nd Congressional district of Utah. He serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources, the House Committee on Homeland Security, and the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, where he is Vice-Chairman of the Subcommittee on Environment.
