Western Caucus Executive Committee Unanimously Re-elects Chairman Paul Gosar

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressional Western Caucus Chairman Paul Gosar released the following statement after being re-elected to a second term as Chairman:

Chairman Paul Gosar: "It is an honor and an privilege to be re-elected as Chairman of the Congressional Western Caucus for the 116th Congress. Over the past two years, we as a Caucus have accomplished so much. From introducing and passing a multitude of legislation to exponentially growing the membership of the Caucus, all of this could not have been possible without the tireless work of our Members and staff. It is because of their efforts that the Western Caucus is a successful and effective Congressional organization."

"We need a strong Western Caucus to continue to pile up more victories over the next two years, to continue to work in a bipartisan manner on things where we agree, to coordinate with the Administration on things that we can get done via regulatory reform and through the Executive Branch, and to hold the line when the Democrat House pushes legislation that is antithetical to our principles and that will have disastrous consequences for our constituents. Despite the challenges that lie ahead, I am optimistic that the Western Caucus will persevere and that we will expand upon our past accomplishments in the 116th Congress."
