“President Trump’s executive actions to promote domestic energy production will have vast benefits for rural America and the West,” said Chairman LaMalfa. “By unlocking our resource rich lands for extraction and reversing onerous rules from the previous administration, President Trump’s actions will lower costs for consumers in their homes and at the gas pump. This is just the beginning of a golden age for American energy.”
The executive orders issued by President Trump:
Declare a national energy emergency to unleash energy production and mineral extraction.
Unlock Alaska’s vast energy resources for responsible exploration.
Streamline permitting and cut red tape.
Support affordable and reliable energy sources and end the previous administration’s burdensome climate initiatives.
Revoke Biden Administration’s de-facto electric vehicle mandate and promote consumer choice.
